Tournaments with Sunday rounds 8

Sunday tournament chess around Barcelona tends to happen in daylight: the morning round of an open, a festival tournament before lunch, a children's open that ends in the early afternoon. The Festa Major tournaments of Castelldefels and Gavà take a single Sunday morning, and the Memorial Josep Lorente in Sant Boi fills a whole Sunday in June with active chess.

In Horta, the Ateneu Hortenc holds a chess gathering for players of every level during the Festa Major, and the children's open of the Les Corts Festa Major takes a Sunday morning in early autumn. The spring open of Sant Adrià de Besòs plays its rounds on Sunday mornings, while in August the international opens of Badalona and Sant Adrià play a round every day, Sundays included. Rounds take place only while each event runs, so check the dates of the current edition with the organiser.
