Chess clubs with a Thursday session 11

On Thursdays the clubs around Barcelona mix open rooms with classes. In the city, Congrés and La Lira open their rooms in Sant Andreu, Tres Peons in Gràcia is open to its members through the afternoon, and Torrenegra in the Eixample holds a children's class before its members' evening. Sant Martí teaches its children's groups, and Catalunya Escacs Club in Sants runs a children's initiation group in the afternoon and an advanced adult class later in the evening.

Outside the city, the Cornellà room is open in the evening, Sant Adrià keeps its hours from the late afternoon, and Sant Cugat runs its school with children's groups by level and an adult group. Cor de Marina in Badalona teaches children and young people on Thursday evenings, and the advanced group in Sant Joan Despí meets in the late afternoon. Some of these hours are for members or pupils, so write before your first visit.
